Jordan “Flu Game” Release #GreatnessOvercomes

It’s been a great experience (Thanks to the Jordan Brand!) these past couple of weeks with the Jordan XII release at Nike Santa Monica and then at the 1997 NBA Finals Game 5 Watch Party in Downtown LA. Obviously, the Flu Game was an epic and iconic display of Jordan’s greatness and one of Michael Jordan’s most memorable games. I’m so glad I was able to celebrate it with my fellow LA sneaker family!

A few weeks ago, I was at Nike very early in the morning on release day:

The line was crazy, but I was one of the lucky ones.
They asked me why this shoe and the Jordan Brand is important to me. Peep your girl near the end of the @jumpman23 video with a legacy-defining quote (haha!)

This past weekend, we re-watched the Flu Game in a really cool space decorated to celebrate the game 19 years later:
